Thursday, March 5th is Innovation Day at OJCS. Parents are invited to Grade 4 from 8:45 am- 9:45am to see our projects.

Our traditional Science/STEM Fair has turned into Innovation Day and the students to share how they are honing their design thinking and engineering skills. The students have been working on brainstorming and designing their ultimate Rube Goldberg machine.

As engineers, we are ready to build and test our machines. We are fully prepared for the failures we will encounter and are ready to persevere and adjust our designs until we achieve success. There is much excitement in the air.

We look forward to sharing our projects with you next week. If you are unable to attend please know that I will send you a video of your child and their Rube Goldberg machine in action. You will get an up-close and personal look at the project so you can share in the fun and excitement of the day.
