Bilingual Social Studies Makerspace Project

Both Grade  4 Social studies classes have completed a research task about the Canadian Provinces and Territories in French and English. Students then used Tinkercad to design their cookie cutter in the shape of their chosen province or territory.

Here is our cookie cutters being made! The final update will land next week with the classes making a salt dough and then cutting out the map of Canada, allowing it to harden and then painting into a jigsaw! What fun!

Les deux classes d’études sociales de quatrième année ont terminé une tâche de recherche sur les provinces et les territoires canadiens en français et en anglais.

    Dear Grade 4,

This province project looks so interesting. Was it difficult to design the provinces with Tinkercad? Are you going to put all your salt dough provinces together to make Canada? I cannot wait to see the final product.

Good luck with the rest of this project!
    Mrs. Bennett 🙂
