Grade 4 students are wrapping up their presentations on a chosen Canadian province / territory for Social Studies. With language support and guidance on how to best search for information, they collected facts to answer some pertinent research questions before creating their CANVA presentations. Once completed, they practiced presentation skills such as speaking loud enough to be heard, facing the audience, speaking as opposed to just reading their slides, pointing to important information as they show their work and being ready to answer questions in French from the teacher at the end of their talk.
