Welcome to My Blog

Hello All,

I hope you are all well! Happy Coming Rosh Hashana!!

This first post will be shorter than my regular ones, but they all vary in length over the year.

The kids have all settled in and many of you had a chance to see the grade 4 classrooms. you can find my presentation from back to school attached here.

BacktoschoolMrWatters

This week, we received our class set of Chromebooks. Students had a workshop on Device Care and Tips. Next week will have a workshop on Our Digital Footprint.

Amplify and IXL are fully operational and kids know they are supposed to do 15 minutes of Amplify homework a week. More is also fine, but it’s up to you.

In ELA, we started The Wild Robot as a whole class novel study.

Monday is a Dress Down Day for The Terry Fox Run! Kids can wear PT gear.

Shabbat Shalom

Thank you for the update, Mr. Watters! It’s wonderful to hear that the students are already settling in so well and that the Chromebooks are up and running. I love that you’re starting the year with The Wild Robot… (One of my personal faves!)… it’s such a great choice for sparking discussion and curiosity.

Looking forward to hearing more about Grade 4’s learning journeys this year!
