In Israel anyway… – ืื‘ื™ื‘ ื”ื’ื™ืข ืคืกื— ื‘ื

This year Kitah Dalet will be running a Model Seder at Hillel Lodge, for the residents from our ‘Vehadartah Pnei Zaken’ program, as well as other residents who wish to join us.

The Seder will take place Monday, April 15th at 2:15pm.ย  Please let me know by Monday, April 1st (tomorrow is even better), if your child will be away, as each child will receive a part to be in charge of and present during the Seder.ย

On top of reading the part, this project will involve giving some explanation of meaning and background as to why it is part of the Haggadah.ย

We went through the songs today and as always, I enjoyed listening to their beautiful singing.

Kitah Dalet, please continue practicing The Passover songsย at home.

Hebrew Homework for Week of January 14-18

This week we will be working, together with Liam and Inbar, our wonderful Shinshinim,ย  on creating a Tu Bishvat Seder to do with the Hillel Lodge residents.

Monday night, your homework is to readย the song: ื”ืฉืงื“ื™ื” ืคื•ืจื—ืช and then practice singing it.

Once we decide on the parts for our Seder, your homework will be to practice saying it in front of an audience.

This means:

  1. You need to practice looking at your audience while speaking (make eye contact)
  2. You need to speak clearly.
  3. You need to project your voice (use a loud enough voice so people can hear you)
  4. You need to pace your words.
  5. You need to know when it is your turn to speak.

Looking forward to another lovely week with a wonderful class…

Remember… there is only one thing we need to work on… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can’t wait to hear and see your presentations tomorrow… don’t forget to practice at home tonight…
