Week #7 Favourite Family Celebrations and Holidays
This week we really enjoyed talking about our favourite holidays. I loved learning which holidays the students like best. They had the choice to write a poem or a little paragragh about their favourite holiday.

Week #5 Music 
The week #5 task was all about Music. The students had a chance to write about a favourite artist, talk about their favourite songs or make some music of their own. We had fun with the music. Some students created some music on garage band, and one group wrote a song. They made a music video using some of our artwork and music.

Can you make up some difficult emoji math?
We have been busy completing all the tasks for the student blogging challenge these last few weeks. The students have been helping me collect all the work and put everything on to one document for each of the challenges. We hope you like our work!
Week #3 Fun with Photos 
The blogging challenge had the students learning all about using copyright-free photos. The students first learned about copyright-free pictures last year as they became bloggers and wrote blog posts. They quickly decided to look for photos that they loved on Unsplash and Creative Commons. Some of the students even tried to make their own pictures on Google Draw. Week #4 Free Choice
This week the students were given the choice to write about something they love. Many students decided it write about a favourite activity or animal. Some students wanted to write about their favourite movie or book.
