The Grade 4 students had a fantastic research workshop with Brigitte today. They learned to use key words effectively when researching on the internet. Many of the students type in questions when researching a topic. Brigitte helped us learn all about taking research questions and replacing them with key words. The students had lots of fun and caught on to using key words quite quickly to find good sites and locate information. We look forward to the second part of our workshop that will have the students learning about note taking and using bibliographies. I have a feeling that Grade 4 are going to become excellent researchers this year!
