Last of the Normal Weeks For A While

Hello All

This week marks the last 5 day week for a while with one exception, I will be away from Oct 7 – 11 but have arranged for an excellent guest teacher to come in and support.

Next week we have Orange Shirt Day on Monday and a half day Wednesday starting of a full 4 day weekend.

Things we got up to this week.

In math class we worked on many math tools including times table quick reference. With the help of Mrs. Cleveland we worked on team-building/teamwork using numbers and quadrants. We looked at a special shaped building with lots of shapes and angels that was our inspiration for creative writing.

In ELA we are pushing through reading The Wild Robot. Working on figurative language such as simile and metaphors to work into our creative writing.

In Science, we continued with habitat research.

    Keep being amazing!
